I recently switched from a GTX 750 ti to an RTX 3060 ti. I checked the reviews and benchmarks everyone shared, and was particularly impressed by the ray tracing features. But when I started Minecraft, it stuck at around 60-70 frames per second, which wasn’t what I expected. I ran Security Breach again and confirmed the same issue—frames hovering near that range. The game isn’t overly optimized, though. I tried various fixes like enabling X.M.P., but nothing helped. I’m hoping someone here can help, because this is where tech lovers usually seek advice.

Review your power configurations to ensure you're using the RTX 3060, not the built-in GPU. Verify this in Windows and separately through the NVIDIA control panel for the GPU settings.

The 60~70 FPS in Minecraft with RTX on and DLSS off looks appropriate for a 3060Ti. The other game has users reporting issues on a 3080Ti in Steam reviews, suggesting the problem may lie with the game rather than the GPU. Consider testing with programs like Unigine Superposition or 3DMark Time Spy to verify actual performance levels.

Get the 3Dmarks free edition, perform a performance test, and post your findings. Running Minecraft on an RTX graphics card isn't straightforward.

It sounds like this GPU is exceptionally capable, handling complex graphics tasks smoothly.

It involves upscaling, likely DLS for Minecraft. I couldn't locate the free version on Steam.

Minecraft supports numerous add-ons, which could mean a large selection if you're using the ray tracing feature.

You're playing Minecraft Bedrock without any mods, and it runs smoothly at around 73 frames per second.

There is no ray tracing involved, so it won't be useful.
