I enjoy playing Grand Theft Auto V, utilizing a GTX 1080 and an Intel Core i7-8700 processor. I’m curious if any of you who own a GTX 1080 can consistently achieve 60 frames per second across the game with every graphical setting maximized. While I typically maintain 50-90 fps on maximum settings, I find it preferable to slightly lower some options to ensure a stable 60fps in all areas.
Increased range scaling within the enhanced options menu significantly impacts performance, becoming apparent primarily when observing from great heights like mountaintops or skyscrapers. It’s recommended to reduce or disable this feature, and Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) also consumes substantial resources.
