Hello... you're using a Huawei HG8245H router, but the LAN ports are blocked by your internet provider. Since you have a PC, you're looking to connect via Ethernet. You might need to contact your ISP or check if the ports are enabled through your router settings. Let me know if you need further help! Thank you.

ISPs restrict LAN ports to prevent unauthorized access or interference. They typically secure these ports by using physical locks, software controls, or network segmentation to ensure only authorized devices can connect.

Refers to something being secured or restricted, like a door or access point.

Are you sure the device connected by cable is configured with DHCP? Which IP address does it obtain compared to other Wi-Fi users? Have you attempted to assign a fixed IP? How does the network interface behave once the cable is plugged in? These details are essential before you attribute any issues to the router.

I reached out to the internet service companies and they confirmed their stance. They mentioned I need a more expensive premium plan, which would limit the ports to just one. This feels unfair since others with similar subscriptions keep all four ports active. It’s a third-world situation, so they seem free to act however they like without any repercussions.

I would link the active port to a switch to accommodate additional connections.

All ports aren't functioning, which is why they're demanding double payments each month just to open one for me.

It seems like you're frustrated, but you're wondering if checking the router settings helped.
