Been running some tests on a new build (Fractal Design Pop Silent) and noticed my chipset temperatures spiking a lot. They’ve always been high, but this feels extreme. What’s the maximum temperature for an X570 chipset? After two hours of playing COD MW2 with a strong fan setting, the readings were this high. GPU (Gigabyte RX6800 Gaming OC) Core Max: 71°C Hotspot Max: 81°C Memory Junction: 84°C SOC Max: 85°C VDDC Max: 86°C CPU (3900X at 4.1GHz 1.2125V) Hottest Core: 71.4°C CCD1 Limit: 74°C CCD2 Limit: 72°C X570 Chipset Chipset: 85°C Chipset RPM Average: 7200RPM M.2 1 (Gigabyte Gen4) Temp Max: 63°C M.2 2 (Kingston NV1) Temp Max: 67°C In AIDA64, the whole PC keeps getting hot no matter what you set. I’m using a Deepcool AK620, which is unusual. I also have a BeQuite Dark Base 500, but I’d rather skip that. It seems I might need to consider it.
