ROG STRIX X670E struggles with dual-channel RAM performance.
I've acquired a set of Corsair Vengeance RAM and needed to swap it out since it wasn't functioning with my board. It would boot with just one channel but wouldn't even start when both sticks were placed in the board. Corsair replaced them with an EXPO version instead of the Intel Optimized variant. I'm still experiencing the same problem. The motherboard displays error code C5 and won't boot. I've experimented with different configurations—placing the sticks in A1/B1 instead of A2/B2—but it doesn't resolve the issue. It seems neither RAM model I've used is available on the QVL. Would this prevent the system from booting at all in dual-channel mode? Currently, my machine runs fine with a single stick inserted, but it refuses when two are used. If the RAM isn't listed in the QVL, what's the likelihood it will be added eventually? The RAM model is: CMH32GX5M2B5600Z36K VENGEANCE® RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 DRAM 5600MT/s C36 AMD EXPO Memory Kit.
