ROG B550 F GAMING II connects via Wi-Fi easily.
Hey everyone, I just assembled my first PC using the ROG B550F Gaming II Wifi motherboard. After connecting the antenna, it didn’t show up, but now I’m running it via Ethernet. It would really help if someone could check my motherboard and Wi-Fi setup, especially since I’m new to this stuff. Thanks!
I understand why your Wi-Fi wasn't detected, because your motherboard supports it but requires the right driver. Drivers help the computer communicate with the antennas. Look up your motherboard on Google, locate the support page, then navigate to drivers and tools. Choose your OS, scroll down, and find the wireless option under "Wireless" to download it. Activate the drivers using an online tutorial. You can also visit this link for assistance: https://rog.asus.com/au/motherboards/rog...k_download
Sorry to interrupt, but in the details I provided I’m uncertain about the meaning of “It wasn’t detected is about.” For example, were you checking for a wireless connection or antenna performance? Please clarify so I can assist better.
He directed you to the previous version of the board, fortunately I planned to purchase that model when it launched, though I haven't done so. https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-st...k_download
