when attempting to start rocket league you encounter the message "Your video card does not support alpha blending with floating point render targets (D3DFMT_A16B16G16R16F), which is required to run this game. Exiting..." This seems incorrect since I’m using a r9 380x and an i5 processor. I reinstalled the driver, updated DirectX 9, and tried running it on integrated graphics, but nothing works. I’m struggling and don’t know what to do except possibly clearing my drive and reinstalling Windows (which isn’t an option). Any advice would be really helpful. Thank you!

This message refers to an old post about a different game, suggesting a possible solution exists. It also asks if the user has tried power cycling the device.

Thanks for the assistance, but I've already checked that page and attempted the steps without success. I was able to lower my driver to Crimson 16.3.2, and Rocket League functioned properly on that version. Not sure what to try next.
