The 3000 series is version 4. A Gen 5 riser isn’t standard—those are newer models. You might want a Gen 4 cable instead, and you can test it out. The Gen 5 cable you mentioned also looks quite expensive for its features.

According to Nvidia, it is presented as a Gen3 card. The production might be incorrect, of course.

I received my Linkup Gen4 today. The Lian Li H20 came with a Gen4, which made my MOBO hesitate to post if I used that version. That’s why I upgraded to Gen5. I also ordered the Louqe model. I expect it might take some time for delivery, and I’m worried it may not fit in the H20. My main aim is to install a water-cooled 5090/5080 in the Lian Li case. For my 7800X3D, I’m using the Thermalright AXP90-X53 Full 42.58 CFM cooler, and I was pleasantly surprised by its performance—though it does produce a bit of noise.
