I was attempting to detach the USB 3.0 header by removing the plastic cover, but the pin connections remained intact. The USB port still functions, though the cable is now problematic. Seeking advice on how to reinsert the plastic component and ensure proper functionality.

Align the pins correctly and gently push the plastic casing back onto it. It relies on a tight fit. If the housing isn’t taken off yet, use a firm metal tool such as a dull knife to slowly separate it from one side. Focus on CPUs, motherboards, and memory components.
