Hello, your concern is valid. The compatibility depends on the type of RAM you choose. The KINGSTON FURY Beast DDR5 RGB 6000 uses RGB modules, while the ASUS TUF GAMING B650-Plus supports standard DDR5 RAM. Since the motherboard only lists standard DDR5 options, it may not support RGB modules directly. You might need to use a different motherboard or consider standard DDR5 RAM for full compatibility.

It should work well with the RGB option if you prefer, since it offers better resale value down the line even if the cost is similar.

I think the RGB setting isn't the main problem. More probably it's related to frequency and/or timing. It might still function, but I purchased non-QVL Patriot RAM. Even though it works, using XMP caused instability in my PC. At 3600 MHz it only reached 2660 MHz. I wouldn't suggest trying unless you're willing to spend a lot.

The vendor mentions that both the timing and frequency remain consistent, addressing your concern about any variations.

In reality, you'll encounter some variations. Since XMP/DOCP/EXPO are essentially overclocking solutions, you can't always ensure the memory performs at that speed. Ultimately, it depends on the components you choose to use.

Their specifications match except for RGB, so it's unclear why it wouldn't work. I recommend checking with Asus.
