RGB indicators illuminate yet the computer fails to start.
A few days back my computer ran smoothly. I didn’t change anything except what I normally do. When trying to boot it, it wouldn’t start. I replaced some parts like RAM, swapped the power supply, reset CMOS, repositioned the CPU, and put new thermal paste. So far I haven’t tried a different motherboard or CPU since they’re not available. How can I check if my CPU or motherboard is faulty?
Refresh all components. Test one connector at a time and reset the CMOS. Check the CPU for any damaged contacts.
These issues often stem from memory problems. Consider starting with a single RAM stick, as suggested. Test it in various environments. Clearing the CMOS and removing the memory may delay booting, sometimes taking several minutes. Ensure patience. Confirm the RAM lights up and if other components like lights or fans activate. Refer to the manual to see if your motherboard shows any error codes or debug information. Small red indicators can also guide you.
