Searching for motherboards with a minimum of two 3-pin 5V RGB or ARGB headers compatible with R7 5800X, R5900X, and 5950X. Current options include the VIII Dark Hero, Hero, and B550F, though the latter only offers one RGB 3-pin header.

It's not that simple. If you have more than five ARGB fans, your motherboard might not work with them.

What type of argb fans are you thinking of purchasing? The fans feature up to 72 argb LEDs. Argb headers can accommodate a maximum of 72 LED units. Therefore, if your fans have 24 argb LEDs, the motherboard can only handle 3 because 72 divided by 24 equals 3.
