I just created a list of parts I intend to purchase for my new rig. What do you think about it? Are all the components compatible? Are there good options available? Here’s the link: https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/user/Cedd/saved/YxfcTW Thanks ahead of time! P.S.: The PSU is different because it wasn’t listed on pcpartpicker—actually, it’s the 650W version.

The SeaGate drive isn't working well—consider replacing it with a bigger SATA SSD or a WD Blue/Red. The power supply is poor; choose a better one.

The power supply is faulty because it fails to provide stable voltage or current, causing malfunctions in connected devices.

Certain AMD B450 boards might require a BIOS upgrade before installing Matisse CPUs. Changing the BIOS could mean using a different processor that works with earlier BIOS versions.

It's a budget Chinese device with uncertain standards, safeguards, and efficiency. Opt for reputable alternatives like the Corsair TXM Gold or Be Quiet Pure Power Gold.

Most systems are currently refreshed, so the concern is minimal—99% of shops already apply the BIOS updates at no cost.

The PSU isn't top-notch, but it's still fairly good. I’d make two changes: first, opt for a B450 Pro4—it tends to be more affordable—or hold off until you get a B550. Also, consider swapping the RAM unless you prefer its appearance. A budget model like a Vengeance would work well; it’s cheaper and often made by companies such as Hynix or Micron, making it quite satisfactory.

Good for general office use, not ideal for high-end gaming where heat buildup and stability matter

It falls into the B+ range for PSU selections. Other choices may be less suitable for a gaming setup.
