I'm just starting out with building a gaming PC and I need some advice. I have a budget of around $2000.

For the CPU, I'm considering the Intel Core i7-13700K, which is a 13th Gen Raptor Lake 16-core processor with a base frequency of 3.4 GHz and an E-core base frequency of 2.5 GHz. It comes with Intel UHD Graphics 770 and costs $410.99.

The motherboard I'm looking at is the ASUS ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi 6E, compatible with Intel 12th and 13th Gen processors. It features PCIe 5.0, DDR5 support, and other features. The price is $254.99.

For memory, I'm planning to use the CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB RAM, which is a 288-pin PC RAM with DDR5 support. The cost for this is $99.99.

The GPU I have in mind is the MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4070, which offers 12GB of GDDR6X memory. The price for this card is $639.99.

The case I'm considering is the NZXT H9 Flow, a black dual-chamber mid-tower design. It costs $159.99.

For the power supply, I'm thinking about the MSI MPG A650GF, a 650W full modular gaming PSU. The price is $89.99.

Storage options include the Western Digital Blue 2.5" 4TB SATA III SSD, which is priced at $329.99.

Lastly, the operating system I'm planning to install is Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit, with a cost of $129.99.

Welcome to the community, fresh face!
You might have customized your message like this thread, and added your PCPaprtPicker link for a smoother or faster evaluation.
Regarding your setup, overall it looks good, but I’d suggest avoiding a single large drive. Instead, divide the SSD cost between a smaller one for the operating system and launchers—around 500GB—and then opt for a bigger PCIe M.2 SSD.
For cooling the processor, here’s my suggestion:

PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K 3.4 GHz, 16-core
Price: $399.94 (Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool AK500 WH 68.99 CFM
Price: $44.99 (Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI ATX LGA1700
Price: $449.99 (Amazon)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB), DDR5-6000 CL30
Price: $129.99 (Amazon)
Storage: TEAMGROUP MP33 512 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME
Price: $22.49 (Newegg)
Storage: TEAMGROUP MP34 4 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME
Price: $168.99 (Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte AERO OC GeForce RTX 4070, 12 GB

When building a gaming PC, it's challenging to determine which components matter without understanding your monitor specifications—1080p, 1440p, or 4K would significantly impact everything.
