Wow, if you have an improved option, I’d be excited to know about it. As a hobbyist photographer, this issue really bothers me while using Windows 10.

Classic Shell really helped me out back then. I recall reading the articles and noticing most people using Win8 at the time. Back then I just went with Windows 7 and waited a bit longer.

I recall when Windows Phone was at its peak and many were still using Lumia and the sleek yellow model with the large camera. The interface felt surprisingly smooth on phones and tablets, and it performed well even on more basic hardware than many Android phones of that time.
