You're right, it seems like the main tasks are just online games since schoolwork is handled digitally. Using one big SSD plus an external drive for backups should work well and be quicker than a standard setup. Thanks.

Sadly no Microcenter available. If most documents are online, a quick drive would suffice. Current SSDs are incredibly fast.
On the Ryzen 5 7500f I haven’t used aliexpress before, but it’s a decent deal. Likely the F means no built-in video, but you’ll still need a GPU.
My older Thermalright peerless assassin on the i5 12600kf works perfectly. The model you picked should be improved, so cooling shouldn’t be a problem. Just remember to bring a long magnetic Phillips screwdriver for installation—it’ll make things easier.
Great choice on the 7800xt!

Another suitable choice, reviewing the CPU/Motherboard now. Appreciate it!

no worries
the issue is mainly about getting the right boot and software speeds since my system files are stored on the M.2 drive instead of the RAID 1, which means I avoid waiting on slower storage and keep everything running smoothly.

I also like the 7700 setup to cut down on future expenses. Do you have any suggestions for adding Bluetooth or Wi-Fi cards? It seems this motherboard doesn't come with an integrated one.

I would pick this option. The board offers plenty of space for the wifi module, and there are openings in the io shield for the antenna.

Or invest a bit more to get a superior board with it included.

With am5 you can easily add a new CPU later. The 7700x is already from the latest generation, so don't worry too much about it.

I would approach this build based on the budget outlined. The 9600x6c/12t CPU is sufficient for current and upcoming gaming needs, and it can be upgraded with a more powerful processor later if required. The motherboard comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, covering all necessary features; a BIOS update might be needed to support the newer 9600X, but it seems likely the chipset is up-to-date. Having 32GB of RAM is typical today and should comfortably handle games with additional applications. A 2TB NVMe drive fits well now and offers room for future expansion. The CPU cooler selected performs adequately even with high-power chips and doesn’t leak. The case provides excellent workspace and airflow. This configuration stays close to the $1200 budget, with an RX7800 XT capable of delivering solid performance at 1080p and potentially 1440p if a suitable monitor is found. Adjustments can be made to reduce costs using alternatives like the 7500f. Overall, this setup meets expectations for both current and near-future use.

I don't understand how or when the 7800 XT cost $369 for these parts lists, but it's now around $440 at the lowest prices.
