this level of exposure seems acceptable, but what are you aiming for? i wouldn’t continue.

You're asking for clarification on your goals. Could you please explain what you hope to achieve?

Operating the CPU at higher temperatures shortens its life, yet contemporary CPUs include safeguards to avoid sudden failure. After disassembling and cleaning the chip thoroughly, using a standard cooler might actually reduce performance because it creates poorer thermal contact.

Those surface marks will hinder heat movement significantly. What made you choose to wear down your CPU instead of simply improving the thermal interface material to liquid metal? That's outdated—since about the year 2000. Today's CPUs include built-in protections that keep them from overheating under typical use, they monitor temperature and can throttle or power down before damage occurs. Even more importantly, modern CPUs are built to handle continuous operation for extended periods without problems, making them suitable for demanding tasks like gaming compared to other workloads such as rendering and compilation.

Physically harming the person will cause significant damage much quicker.

Sadly due to Quantum tunneling there is a pretty significant chance of the CPU in question, The Ryzen 7 5800H Designed by Advanced Micro Devices and Produced by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited, Not being harmed in any way whatsoever.
