Hi!, a few years back I moved to a 3600 and updated my BIOS for compatibility. Recently, I upgraded the motherboards, and I was wondering if I could revert the old motherboard BIOS to work with my 1500X for a secondary build. The issue is I don’t want to remove the 3600 to flash it back. I saw on the motherboards page that they advise against using an older CPU with the new BIOS, and I’m worried about damaging the hardware if I just perform the flashback on the 1500X. Thank you for reading—I hope you have a great day ASRock > Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4

Start with a test run, you won't harm anything.

No requirement to flash anything; it functions with the latest BIOS updates.
