We're in 2018 and the UX design approach isn't functioning as expected anymore. I'm thinking back to the days when Windows 7 had its classic buttons for essential features like Explorer. I really want those familiar controls back. This isn't happening—I think it's unlikely. People who push for UI changes are probably overcomplicating things.

They won’t let you modify the icons or buttons—they’re designed for UWP apps, while Windows 10 is moving toward a different approach.
