I found an old PC and thought about whether it could support AC2008. It has an AMD Athlon 64 processor, 3500+ clock speed, 2.2GHz, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and a power color of 6750. The build date is unknown, but it’s around 7-8 years old.

Works well at 720p, should run smoothly... tested on Intel P6100 with HD graphics at low settings, achieved buttery smooth 24fps. Expect around 24-45fps at medium-high settings.

I believe it could work, though not very well if played on low to medium volume.

I agree, but it might not run very smoothly with high detail.

Before cinematic gained popularity, film was still a novelty.

The GPU should handle the task smoothly, but your CPU could use a bit more power. For around €20, you can find many improved CPUs that fit the same socket on eBay. Check compatibility with your motherboard and ensure adequate cooling before purchasing.

The most powerful CPU for gaming on this motherboard would depend on its specifications, but a high-end processor like an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 would be ideal. Edit: anyone know where to find the AC 2008 torrent?

I don't know the specific motherboard you're using. Also, talking about piracy is not permitted. Just a note that it's cheap on Steam.

Just remove yourself from Steam or purchase from a nearby shop (I got AC1 for around three euros at a local store)
