Hello, someone with more insight than me, I'm just trying to get this feature active. I believe I've configured everything correctly, but it's not functioning as expected. (Setting day to zero means daily wake-up) I usually sleep on my PC rather than powering it off completely, which is a habit from an older system. It may not work with sleep mode, but it does shut it down fully. I've uploaded the newest Windows update and my BIOS Verification, as some light investigation suggests a window setting could be the issue. However, I need assistance from experienced tech experts.

The same kernel is used in both versions. The advantage of Windows 11 over Windows 10 is that you can easily copy the regedit command to access it directly without having to navigate through it step by step.

I plan to try tomorrow and schedule a few different wake-up times so I don’t have to wait until the next day.

I followed your instructions and left it unchanged. It was initialized to zero.

You've tested the functionality and it's functioning correctly. The issue seems to stem from how the system expects shutdown versus sleep. While putting your PC to sleep isn't ideal, resuming via alarm still meets your goal of having everything ready for use. You might consider switching to a proper shutdown if you prefer.

When putting the PC to sleep, using the right method is through the Windows task scheduler. This is the process my backup software follows. The PC enters sleep mode, then at 7 a.m. on Sundays it starts up automatically, performs the backup, and returns to sleep. I can interrupt this if I’m awake—usually not the case. For details, check the guide here: https://www.howtogeek.com/119028/how-to-...matically/
