Hey everyone, I changed the case from a Corsair Crystal 570x to a Lian Li O11 Dynamic and my performance dropped significantly. The hardware specs were identical except for the case, and now everything feels sluggish. I ran a fresh Windows install in hopes it would help, but nothing changed—my CPU stays at 5.0Ghz, GPU clocks and memory look normal, temperatures are okay. I've adjusted all settings in-game and via Nvidia Control Panel, but the issue persists. I even tried mounting the GPU higher with a riser, thinking that might be the culprit, but it wasn't. No, I didn't remove any components. The issue seems unrelated to the CPU cooler or the motherboard's back panel.
I didn't remove the CPU cooler, and my temperatures stayed normal even during stress tests. For the motherboard, I haven't noticed any signs of damage.
For anyone encountering this; I changed cases back to my original setup and the issue resolved. The likely reason was that my GPU wasn't properly seated in the Lian Li case. This wasn't my responsibility since I attempted to recreate the problem, and it actually didn't fit at all. While taking apart the Lian Li build, I found the GPU came loose on its own. If you're facing the same problem, the Lian Li O11 Dynamic isn't meant for the Evga Rtx 3080 Ti. Thanks @PcBeExpensive for your assistance!
