Restored my MSI Click BIOS to optimal settings but the computer is now running poorly.
I don't even grasp how that's possible since I've never adjusted those settings before. I went into bios trying to undervolt my CPU, but the bios didn't have anything related to it and it showed "reset to optimal settings" when I exited. I wondered why not and clicked it. Now everything is choppy and runs at around 15 frames per second.
Before this, I could perfectly run BFV at 125+ fps with no stutters, vermintide 2 exactly the same. Now it's only at 15, which is unplayable, and Warzone was constantly at 80 fps but has dropped to 25-44 fps now. I'm really confused and need help.
I know this is vague, but I genuinely don't know what to say.
just entered bios and there’s nothing like an “XMP profile” setting I need to enable. i don’t understand the bios at all—i checked every option i could find, but nothing about memory. i have no memory settings, no cpu adjustments, nothing at all. maybe i’m not smart enough to reach them, but i’ve gone through the whole bios and still nothing. the only thing i see is “motherboard settings,” which also doesn’t mention anything related to memory. if i press ez mode (f7), i can view some cpu memory storage fan info categories, but it’s just data with no dropdowns or changes available.
