Preparing to sell my gaming PC at the local PD means double-checking its performance beforehand. Even after resetting, missing drivers can cause issues like storage stuttering, audio glitches via HDMI, and a non-functional WiFi card. You might want to find a method to reset Windows 10 while keeping some pre-installed software intact.

According to Slottr, you can simply reinstall them on your own. For extra caution, be sure to completely wipe your drives before selling.

This process doesn't completely erase your information; you must thoroughly clear the storage device.

I selected the built-in reset option to also wipe the drives, even though I didn’t use the PC heavily—just to verify its functionality, log into Origin, and check BF1. Does this capability seem inadequate?

Download the drivers from the site first, save them to a USB stick, then reinstall Windows. Check if it includes a motherboard disc. If yes, purchase a USB optical drive and add it to the package. This simplifies things for both buyer and seller. Consider getting a SATA optical drive if your case supports it—it’s much cheaper, around $12 or less. USB drives cost about $25.
