My sibling made a mistake with his hard drive, all the information vanished and the partition is empty. I discovered a free tool called Recuva that appears to help, but since the drive isn’t labeled because it’s unpartitioned, will data still be salvageable after creating a partition and assigning a letter? Also, are there other free recovery programs you’re aware of? If not, what other methods could possibly recover the files?
