Ahhh I see. Yeah I want to clear every file and driver that might conflict with new hardware which is why I wanted to reset Windows 10. Hm...you mentioned clean install, which sounds better. Do you have a link that I can follow to do so?

Get "easy2boot" and generate a bootable USB drive (just click and it handles it). Alternatively, use the Windows Media Creation Tool (single click) with a Windows ISO file. You’ll need a USB stick of at least 8GB to complete this process. Greets From PowerChaos

I don't agree. A clean install involves formatting the boot drive, which isn't possible inside Windows. I believe it refers to a fresh installation without formatting. You can also perform this from a booted USB drive, allowing you to keep existing files if desired. The outcome remains consistent in terms of usability.

Sure, just to confirm—I think you're asking about the link being for a clean installation.

The boot drive is the storage where Windows starts up. That’s all there is to it. I’m not sure what the specific Win10 feature is doing. I haven’t tried them, they seem to be newer options from Windows 8 onward.
