I'm attempting to reinstall Windows XP on a legacy machine due to language differences. The installation warns it's an older version than what's already installed. Can you find a way to resolve this compatibility issue?

Yes, you can erase the hard drive to resolve issues quickly. Alternatively, you could open the old windows, remove system32, and reinstall a fresh Windows version.

Remove system32 via the foreign Xp and reinstall, it should work.
