Yes, you can reinstall without rendering Linux unbootable, especially if the files are on another drive.

I successfully set up a dualboot on the same drive and reinstalled Windows without issues. If it's using separate drives, problems should be avoided. How do you approach this process? Are you completely erasing and starting fresh, or are you just using standard reinstall instructions?
