Hi, I downloaded Remnant: From the Ashes through the Epic Games Launcher. I paused the download and shut down my PC intermittently, thinking it would keep going. But once the final chunk finished, the progress reset to zero, and I can't locate any of the files I previously saved. Is this a recognized problem? Are there ways to prevent it from happening again? I spent 40GB of my monthly data plan and about 20 hours trying to fix this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Occasionally the file location shifts. You might have altered it yourself. Or downloaders may not identify files you’ve saved before. There’s a risk you lose the information, though—maybe not. This isn’t ideal advice based on my experience. We charge for download speed, not how much data you use, so I just re-downloaded when I had internet or started from scratch. If I’d used a DVD originally, that would have worked better.
