My ISP sent me an i040-gw device with restart issues. Wi-Fi is disabled, likely triggered by YouTube playback or data transfers on the network.

It might be because the internet usage was high, forcing the ISP to restart it.
The router may not be able to manage such a load, so I recommend looking for a better option.
I also face the same problem with my Pirelli DRG125AG from my ISP—it restarts every time I play games.

Usually it's due to overheating, faulty software, or a malfunctioning gadget. Linus even posted a video that closely matches this issue. This isn't typically a common problem.

I retrieve large files from outside sources but encounter issues with execution.

My Verizon router often struggled during torrenting due to insufficient RAM. Overloading IP tables with many connections can cause it to run out of memory. It’s likely your device is facing the same challenge as well. If you’re mainly streaming or copying small amounts of data, you might need hundreds of connections—around 2,000 appears to be a breaking point for your model. If it keeps rebooting like this, a hardware issue may be present and replacing it could be necessary.
