Restarting encountered problem with ID 7009.
Hey there, I have owned my PC for a few years now has been working flawlessly has recently ran into an issue which is making it entirely unusable at times. I'll be using the PC and then without warning it will freeze and restart it self, not a blue screen just a restart. When I check my event viewer afterwards the critical error i get each time is; "A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Intel® SUR QC Software Asset Manager service to connect." And it gives me the event ID of "7009". After doing some research it seems like this an app you can install to manage updates and drivers for intel based things, the strange thing is that it isn't even installed on my pc and as you can see from looking at my specs listed below, i'm on an AMD CPU so I cannot understand why something Intel would be flashing me issues. I did try to then install the app to see if it would change anything, it didn't so I then uninstalled again. I looked into it further and also found a potential fix where you go to a file named "ServicesPipeTimeout" inside regedit and change the timeout value to 60000 milliseconds, this also hasn't fixed anything. It can happen when my pc is on for 5 seconds or 5 hours, sometimes back to back and sometimes can go days without it happening. It also doesn't seem to make a difference how much stress the pc is under as it can happen when just sat on my desktop with nothing open or whilst playing games on high settings. I left a stats tracker open on my second monitor to see what was going on with temps when it happens and everything was within the reccomended range. I really am out of things to try from what i've seen online, so any help even if it's a long shot would be appreciated. I'll try to reply as fast as possible to comments if you guys have questions or need more info .
