Hi everyone, I found a used PC with an old account that no one remembers the password for. When I try to reset it using the recovery menu, I keep getting the error message about being unable to reset the system. I want to run SFC but don’t have admin rights. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks ahead of time.

Choose a Windows ISO from Microsoft, create a bootable USB, and reinstall on it.

According to @M.Yurizaki, simply reinstalling Windows 10 will work. The system detects your hardware and SNs online, so it will turn on automatically once connected to the internet without any manual input.

I attempted to reinstall Windows last night and encountered a problem when setting up a user account. The screen briefly went black, displayed the desktop, and then reset to the setup screen again. I couldn't complete the process because typing a username and clicking next caused the screen to stay black. This isn’t an issue I’ve faced before with a Windows reinstall.
