Lately my dad's computer has been acting up. I suppose it's the motherboard but I want to try a reset first. I remember that there was an option to reset without deleting everything but I cant find it now. Now let me explain the problems: 1. E-sign One day it works perfectly fine but sometimes it doesn't register it. 2. There are some lines on the monitor, like flickering. I thought it was the monitor but even though I changed it the problem stays. They are connected with VGA. Thanks in advance!

Ensure there is a functioning backup of any crucial data before proceeding. Be precise with your checks. A flickering VGA cable often indicates a signal problem, possibly due to the cable or connectors. Verify both ends are securely connected and consider switching the cable if needed.

I don't see a method to restart Windows while apps are running. The closest I understand is asking Windows to run a self-check for missing or damaged files. Check the Microsoft support page for details: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topi...6e85d4094e. The screen issue seems more likely due to hardware rather than software. You mentioned testing another monitor, which is helpful. The cable or GPU might also be the cause. Try adjusting the refresh rate if needed.

The display runs at 60hz, which is the lowest supported rate. Regarding USB problems, it frequently displays “USB device not recognised” on both the front and back connections.

I don’t understand how I imagined this, but it didn’t exist. I was puzzled because I have to restart my HP Celeron each month and reinstall my apps—there are around three. So yeah, I’m pretty clueless.
