Ensure OCCT is updated to the newest release. The Power test should display CPU, GPU, and Memory usage under its settings. If only GPU appears, consider using the Stability test, which merges CPU and RAM load. Aim for a tool that stresses both CPU and memory simultaneously, rather than just the GPU, to accurately detect crashes.

Spent an hour successfully handling the 'extreme' CPU+memory test. Planning to return control of my PC and unwind, then retest later without using it during a work meeting.

Typically the problem stems from power supply issues, often a faulty PSU, but sometimes it's due to a contaminated wall outlet. It seems you're in safe hands with Fillipos.

This was my first concern, but it occurs even when the computer is idle and not running on the desktop. I'm unsure if that would happen then. I might consider replacing the power supply unit, though this one is only a couple years old—just in case I can eliminate other possibilities first.

It raises more questions about BIOS/AGESA behavior or RAM EXPO consistency than a simple power supply issue. You might record voltage readings using HWInfo while the machine is idle; any unexpected drops in Vcore or SOC could suggest firmware or EXPO settings rather than a faulty PSU.

No issues after turning off PBO. Likely too soon to judge, but I’ll hold onto hope.

I wanted to share an update, but there have been no crashes after turning off PBO.

JK experienced a crash during a stream of the new world. It seems the 9070xt hellhound stopped working at a specific temperature. I'm not sure if that's the cause. I was stable for two days, but recently it happened again after streaming. After a few hours, it failed completely. Trying to increase the fan curve sooner and raising the max from 90% to 100%.

Downsized to 5600Mhz with no issues. Enabled PBO last night using a -30 curve again—still stable. Likely the memory performance matched earlier expectations.
