The issue keeps happening whenever I use the 1 RAM slot, causing the PC to restart repeatedly. I've tried reseating the CPU, swapping the PSU, and swapping the RAM, but I'm convinced the problem lies with the motherboard. LGA1150 boards here are quite costly (around $150), so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Specs: i7-4790K @ 4.00GHz (no overclocking), RX 570 4GB, Hynix 8GB RAM, 1600MHz DDR4, H81P-PLUS motherboard.

With just one RAM stick, it's recommended to utilize a different slot.

I own two 8GB units but the second one causes the system to restart each time I run it.
