I'm working on bringing back my old PC and added some extra RAM. I already had 2x 4GB F3-1-7-0-0x from g.skill installed, and purchased 2x 4GB F3-1-7-0-0x which matches the same speed and voltage. My system has a gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI that supports up to 32GB of RAM, so I thought everything was okay. But when I installed the new RAM and restarted the computer, no video output appeared on either the graphics card or the motherboard. I removed one stick and it worked perfectly, but when I tried again, it didn't. Then I removed another stick, and it worked once before it stopped. This problem also happens when I only use the original two sticks (F3-1-7-0-0x), though since it's been a while since I used this PC, I'm unsure if something other than the new RAM is causing it. All fans spin and lights come on during startup. At first, the computer would loop back into a restart cycle, but now it seems different. I adjusted the RAM voltage to 1.6V because I thought the F3-1-7-0-0x might need that voltage, while the F3-1-7-0-0x can handle 1.5V or 1.6V. The same issue keeps happening. I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong.
