Hello, I'm new to PC troubleshooting and now my system keeps restarting every ten minutes or so. It began yesterday while playing Anno with YouTube playing in the background. The crashes happen randomly without any specific task. I've been trying to diagnose it but haven't found a solution. Could anyone suggest what might be causing this sudden issue and how to fix it? I've never experienced problems with CAD, FH5, CS2, Anno or similar before, but now it seems to crash unexpectedly whether loaded or not. Current stats: CPU 12400F, GPU 56 hotspot, specs include 8GB RAM, ASUS Z690P, and a 3600mhz NVMe SSD. I'm using Windows 11 with Corsair 750W power supply.

Launch Event Viewer, navigate to System Viewer. Identify any errors or critical events near the crash times and check for patterns. Are there signs of system instability such as shutdowns or blue screens?

The system doesn't display a blue screen; it simply shuts down and restarts. I've identified several critical issues, including the source: kernel power event ID 41.

Other details unrelated to them were omitted. Errors noted were those the logs disliked regarding the unexpected shutdown.

The logs show the second occurrence before the crash, with multiple LSA warnings appearing each time it fails.

It seems like a PSU issue with an unsigned LSA package. Better stop powering it and let it fail. Keep it minimal for troubleshooting only—only when you're sure. If it's your PSU, you might also harm other devices.

This seems to be a PSU-related issue. I managed to recreate the problem by restarting the game and loading the world, but pressing "set sail" causes a crash, possibly due to power supply instability. It happened even when I used other apps like Google and monitoring tools. How would you approach diagnosing a PSU problem of this nature? It might be a complex process, especially with loose connectors. You might want to check the connections or consider contacting Corsair since it's been less than a year since I purchased the PSU. Are there any other steps you recommend?

The PSU troubleshooting is only possible if you're familiar with the process. It's complex, risky, and not recommended unless you're experienced.

However, I’d prefer to wait for another response—my confidence isn’t fully there yet.

Haha, sure it works. I’m okay handling it, though I’m not sure where to begin or if it’s worth it—I’ll go with the PSU warranty and send it back. I didn’t want to do that unless there was a simpler, faster way. It seems like this is something new and might actually be the easiest solution.
