Resolved: World of Warcraft performance issues with low frames per second on an i7-5960x and GTX 1080 graphics card.
My system consists of two GTX 1080 graphics cards paired with an i7-5960x processor, connected to a 144Hz display with a resolution of 2560x1440. In most games, including Call of Duty, I consistently achieve frame rates exceeding 144 fps at 1440p with all settings maximized. However, within World of Warcraft, my frame rate fluctuates between 40 and 80 frames per second, frequently experiencing noticeable stuttering even during large raids and player versus player combat. This issue persists despite attempts to resolve it by deleting the WTF folder, reinstalling the game, and other troubleshooting steps. The problem stems from the fact that my graphics card utilization remains consistently below 40%, while my processor usage is similarly low, indicating that my hardware resources are not being fully leveraged for this specific game. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Don’t stress excessively about low World of Warcraft frame rates; the game isn't built with optimal performance in mind for recent graphics cards. With a 2070 Super, I frequently experience only 50 frames per second when initially entering Orgrimmar. Even after significantly reducing graphics settings to their lowest levels, I continue to observe these low frame rates.
