My computer is running original equipment software, and it has a 180-watt power supply. I’m planning to replace my current graphics card (GT 730) with an RX 560. What steps should I take?

An 180-watt power supply unit is insufficient to operate an RX560, even without a six-pin connector. Can you identify the computer’s manufacturer and model? It appears your power supply may not be upgradeable, and a GT1030 GDDR5 would be a more appropriate alternative.

Is it advisable to purchase a replacement power supply, considering I have an Intel Core i5-7400 processor?

Could you please identify the manufacturer and specific model of this assembled computer? Certain prebuilt systems may not accommodate an upgraded ATX power supply unit.

It is no longer available for purchase, I believe.

That’s irrelevant.

If you provide the manufacturer and model number of your initial system, I can investigate to determine whether your computer is suitable for an upgraded power supply and graphics card.

The Lenovo Ideacentre 510-15ICB is currently the most popular model. My personal computer represents an earlier version of this device, with these specifications: i5-7400 processor; 8 gigabytes of RAM in a single slot; a 2 terabyte hard drive; and a DVD drive. That’s the extent of my information regarding it.

I’m uncertain, but I believe this document is outlining the compatible graphics cards for that system.
