I’ve considered reinstalling my whole computer and I'm comfortable with that – I was already planning on updating my processor. I desired something more capable for producing content beyond just gaming, and the Ryzen 9 3900x seemed like a suitable solution. I’m also aware that the RTX 2070 Super is comparable to a GTX 1080 Ti, but I simply sought a complete system overhaul. I acquired an RTX 2070 Super Gigabyte OC, a Ryzen 9 3900x, faster DDR4 memory at 3600MHz, and a new X570 ASUS TUF motherboard. This processor should provide years of performance; I could easily add more RAM or swap out the graphics card later if desired.
I’m not implying that you encouraged me to purchase a new system – it was my own decision, driven by frustration with problems in my current setup and a desire for a processor that could effectively manage tasks such as playing games while simultaneously streaming.
I initially anticipated the lagging problems would be more complex than they turned out to be, but it was indeed time for an upgrade regardless. 😀
