I resolved my GTX 5 issue by removing the old Razer drivers. If you have them, try updating them. This worked for me—I don’t know about crashes. Here are screenshots of my settings: http://imgur.com/a/tJQYk PC parts. Hardware: AMD FX-6100 Six-Core 16GB DDR3 1600 Hyper X+G.Skill Snipers MSI GTX 950 2GB Gaming WD Green 1TB SSD, 500W PSU, Compaq Presario SR2150NX case. I noticed this FPS problem before and experimented with settings to see if anything improved, then reinstalled the game. Now I’m still at 1 fps and unsure what to do next.

Did this occur previously or is it new for today? Are every drivers current? Is the 1 fps available in both menus and during gameplay?

I'm not sure, since I stopped playing GTA 5. Last time I played it was a while back... I updated my GPU drivers about four days ago. It could be a driver problem.

Nvidia often has issues with its drivers, which might explain some of the problems.

Not sure how to restore the old drivers to fix the issue. I tried using the NVIDIA optimization for the game, which might be the reason I'm only getting 1 FPS.

I just got back today and haven’t played GTA 5 in a while. When I came back, it was running at 1 FPS, and after reinstalling it, nothing seems different. I’m confused about what to do next.

I attempt to reinstall the drivers, but it failed. I tried installing an older version to check, but that also didn’t work. Now I’m thinking about reinstalling Windows entirely.
