Greetings, this marks my initial message on this platform. I've experienced this problem for a considerable period – at least over a year – and I’m unsure of when it initially began. Recently, while playing Team Fortress 2, I experienced disconnections after joining a server, consistently repeating with other online games. The issue is unpredictable; it doesn’t occur after a set duration, sometimes lasting only five seconds or five minutes. However, it's strictly limited to online gaming environments, as my internet and browser perform flawlessly offline. The disconnections resolve themselves after a seemingly random period, potentially spanning weeks or even a month. Following a computer format in January, the problem ceased until yesterday’s recurrence. This is incredibly frustrating and prevents me from enjoying my preferred games. I am baffled by its cause and seeking a resolution.

Could you provide details about your computer's hardware configuration?

Have you attempted a system startup in safe mode to determine if that resolves the issue?

Please perform a clean boot and observe whether this alters the problem – be certain to carefully follow the guidance and avoid disabling any essential Microsoft services, as this could prevent Windows from loading correctly. For detailed instructions, refer to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help...in-windows.

If a clean boot resolves the problem, it suggests that a startup program is the cause. Gradually restart individual programs you’ve disabled to pinpoint the specific application responsible.

Could you provide details about your computer's hardware configuration?

Have you attempted a system startup with minimal services to determine if this resolves the issue?

Please try a clean boot and observe whether it produces any different results – be certain to carefully follow the instructions and avoid disabling essential Microsoft services, as this may prevent Windows from loading correctly. For guidance, refer to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help...in-windows.

If a clean boot resolves the problem, it suggests that a startup program is likely causing the issue. Systematically restart individual programs you’ve disabled, one at a time, to identify and eliminate the problematic application.

Greetings. I apologize profusely for the extensive delay in responding, as I had inadvertently overlooked this matter and subsequently engaged with my PlayStation 4. It’s possible I've identified the root cause. Last Christmas, I purchased PlayStation Plus with the intention of playing online, but nothing occurred. Subsequently, in February, I obtained Grand Theft Auto V and launched GTA Online. A few days ago, while undertaking a mission with my cousin, I experienced repeated disconnections. These were not initiated by him. Later, attempting to access free mode, I was unexpectedly disconnected from the session, rather than being forcibly removed—it simply froze and generated a separate, “private” instance. It’s conceivable that this is linked to poor internet connectivity; however, it may also be unrelated. If the issue isn’t connected to my internet speed, then I am mistaken.

Edit: It could potentially be interference from the router causing this disconnection issue.
