I'm embarking on my initial computer construction and would appreciate assistance. My components include: an Asus ROG Strix B450 motherboard, an MSI GTX 1650 Ventus (with overclocking modifications if relevant), 32GB of Trident Z Neo RAM, an EVGA 600W ATX power supply, and an Intel Core i5-8500 processor. I’m also considering a NZXT case. Could you advise me on whether I've overlooked anything crucial and confirm the compatibility of all these parts?

Acquire a high-quality supplementary air cooling solution for your fan and apply this thermal paste to the processor core of your i5-8500. Explore for a bronze power supply unit with 650 watts from EVGA to ensure sufficient energy to support your computer system.

I utilize both of these products with my existing i5-7400, and it operates quietly while maintaining consistent temperatures over a ten-month period.

Does the B450 motherboard function best with an AMD processor? An AMD processor will be required.

Agreed. You’ll likely require an updated processor and compatible RAM speed, or a new motherboard as well.

Acquire a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Wifi ATX LGA1151 motherboard and an Intel i5-8500 Desktop Processor (LGA1151) together for a combined price of $299.00, both in excellent condition. Additionally, consider a HyperX Predator 3600MHz HX436C17PB3K4-64 memory module, selecting the 2400MHz option on Amazon to ensure accurate pricing. This complete system, including the processor and memory, will cost $410.00 total, encompassing all applicable taxes. This represents a favorable deal for constructing an impressive six-core Intel system.
