Hello, I was looking for some classic games to alleviate boredom and decided to download Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. However, while playing, I encountered a bugcheck 1001 and my laptop restarted. I’ve attempted reinstalling graphics drivers, but that didn't resolve the issue. Occasionally, I noticed my PC freezing when using Audacity and FL Studio, though that’s not happening now. Could you suggest any solutions?

I resolved the issue using the Who Crashed application; the card was the culprit. I utilized a Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then reinstalled my latest graphics card, and it seems to be functioning perfectly now. Thank you for your assistance nonetheless.

Experiment with using a Windows 7 or earlier compatibility setting to see if it works.
