Hello, I recently bought GTA V and it’s not functioning correctly in full-screen mode. Attempting to use Alt+Enter has been unsuccessful. Therefore, I have a few questions: 1) Are there alternative methods to resolve this issue? 2) Does the game exhibit any differences in graphics or controls when running in half-screen versus full-screen? 3) An engineer advised me to match the game’s resolution to my monitor’s, but doing so results in lag because my monitor is 1920x1020, a resolution my computer struggles to process. Please clarify these concerns for me.

Adjusting your display’s resolution within Windows won't alter the game's inability to launch in a full-screen mode. Consider installing pre-configured XML files designed for systems with limited resources, such as this one tailored for 800x600 resolution and full-screen operation: https://el.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-v-conf...am-or-more

Could you provide a complete hardware specification list? And what is the make and model of your monitor?

It’s impossible to play GTA5 at your desired resolutions and screen size on that hardware. A graphics card upgrade is highly advised. Please refrain from repeatedly posting irrelevant messages throughout the discussion boards.

Adjusting your display’s resolution through Windows settings won't resolve the issue of the game failing to launch in full-screen mode. Consider installing a pre-configured XML file designed for systems with limited RAM, specifically tailored for 800x600 resolution and full-screen operation.
