My gaming experience is plagued by sudden drops in frame rate. While I frequently achieve a high average of 200 frames per second, this is consistently disrupted by abrupt and severe dips, sometimes even reaching incredibly low numbers. I’ve reduced my maximum frame rate limit, yet these spikes persist. These issues are particularly noticeable in Fortnite. I’ve attempted to improve performance by overclocking both my processor and graphics card, but these modifications have not resolved the problem. I recently discovered that my solid-state drive prevents booting from it, though it successfully handles game downloads. Initially, I suspected this was the root cause; however, a technician suggested that it might be linked to a BIOS configuration. What factors could possibly explain these erratic frame rate fluctuations?
