My computer has an Intel FX 8350 processor, 16 gigabytes of memory, and a Radeon RX 570 graphics card. When I play Far Cry 3 on medium settings, my frame rate is typically around 50 frames per second. I’m surprised that with this hardware, I can't achieve a smoother experience, perhaps 60 fps at maximum settings. Could I be overlooking something?

It might have performed optimally when it was initially released, but after several minor updates, its performance has diminished. Additionally, it now utilizes six cores and runs at 60 frames per second.

Your central processing unit isn't particularly powerful.

I’m certain my central processing unit is sufficient for playing FarCry 3. It was released in 2012.

Considering your processor in relation to existing systems, it’s undoubtedly a constraint for the game's performance, irrespective of its original release date.
Could you please specify what visual quality settings and screen resolution you’ve selected for the game?
