Tolis_GR indicated that 1333 MHz memory would restrict the performance of the i7-3770 by approximately 30-40%, while the e3-1230 v2 would suffer a 7% reduction in performance compared to the i7-3770. Therefore, acquiring an e3-1230 v2 alongside enhanced memory (either 2133 MHz DDR3 or 1866 MHz) would yield superior results compared to an i7-3770 utilizing 1333 MHz memory. Is this assessment accurate?

Additionally, considering value for money:
1) e3-1230 v2 with 2133 RAM = $169
2) e3-1230 v2 with 1866 RAM = $153
3) e3-1230 v2 with 1600 RAM = $138
4) i7-3770 with 1600 RAM = $173

I am not located in the United States and will be purchasing locally.

Regarding the processor you’re referring to, it's an i7-3770 model – not the i7-3770K version?

This system consists of an Intel Core i7 3770 processor paired with a H61 motherboard and 2x4GB of 1600MHz RAM, valued at $173. A similar configuration using an Intel Core E3 1230 v2 processor, motherboard, and RAM is also available at a comparable price. These prices are local, and purchasing online would incur significant import charges—around $60 to $100, which is excessively high.

Both processors are similarly priced, so choosing based on your budget with DDR3 1600 memory is recommended. Experimenting with slightly increasing the RAM speed might yield minimal gains, however.

How does video streaming work alongside gaming?

Do processors like the Xeon and i7, which perform similarly in gaming, deliver comparable performance when streaming?

The Intel Core i7-3770 boasts a slightly elevated boost clock rate across all cores and features built-in graphics processing. Memory performance varies based on the motherboard used. Please refer to your motherboard manufacturer’s website for details regarding supported speeds.
