My system configuration:

* Motherboard: ASRock ATX DDR4 Z170 Pro4
* Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1070
* Processor: Intel Core i7-6700 @ 4.00 GHz
* Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz
* Power Supply: Corsair 750W (approximately)

Problem:

My computer is repeatedly restarting without displaying any error messages, such as a blue screen. It resembles an electrical fault with inconsistent behavior. I recently upgraded my PC components and experienced stable operation for approximately a month. However, following the failure of my original power supply (replaced with an identical unit), I began experiencing crashes. These restarts seemed to occur sporadically, particularly when specific game settings were used. For instance, while playing Modern Warfare 2 at 1920x1080 resolution and attempting "The Pit" in Spec Ops, the system would frequently restart while moving within the game. Similarly, I encountered a similar issue with Borderlands 3 during a cutscene. Occasionally, the restarts occur seemingly at random while using the computer for general tasks like browsing or watching videos. I've attempted numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning components, verifying connections, updating drivers and Windows, and even performing a factory reset—likely more than I can recall precisely. Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and I'm struggling to identify its cause. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to ask questions so I can provide more detailed information to help resolve this issue.

Verify your motherboard’s firmware version to ensure it's the most current.

Instructions:
https://www.howtogeek.com/196916/how-to-...update-it/

If your motherboard lacks the latest BIOS, you could explore updating it. However, be aware that improper updates can render your motherboard unusable.

Test your graphics card, as the GTX 1070 may encounter issues. Alternatively, try a different GPU if one is available.

Open the computer case to assess your power supply unit, particularly if you have a Corsair 750W model like the older CX750W, as these may not provide sufficient power for a GTX 1070.

Verify your motherboard’s BIOS is up-to-date using the following resource: https://www.howtogeek.com/196916/how-to-...-update-it. If your motherboard lacks a recent BIOS version, upgrading it might be an option, although improper updates can render the board unusable. Examine your graphics card; a GTX 1070 may experience difficulties, or substitute it with another GPU if available. Open the computer case to assess your power supply unit (PSU), particularly if you’re utilizing a Corsair 750W model, such as the older CX750W, which could be insufficient for a GTX 1070.
