I have limited experience with PC building and apologize for any lack of technical understanding. Approximately two months ago, I began experiencing random stutters in various games including League of Legends, osu!, Destiny 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Borderlands 3. Despite cleaning my PC, researching online solutions, and implementing suggestions from other users, I have been unable to resolve the issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Specifications:
Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E
Intel Core i7-9700K
Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB
Trident Z RGB DDR4 3200 (32GB)

HDD storage is fine. Run Hwinfo64, check sensors only box. Then look for core #0 core#1 etc in the CPU category like the picture below (bottom of this picture). There are current temps and Distance to TjMax. TjMax is how much room you have before hitting maximum temp. Nothing really popping out at me in Task Manager. Though there are some items in there I'm unaware of like Blitz, osu, Meshmixer and some others. If nothing works, could try disable startup items and see if anything there is causing problems. https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help...artup-apps Windows Defender is fine. I don't…

Monitor CPU/GPU temperatures under load and throttling. Verify sufficient remaining storage space for Windows and games. Investigate background processes, malware, or virus activity consuming CPU and memory resources. Utilize HWinfo64 to check temps during stutters; alternatively, employ MSI Afterburner OSD to display in-game statistics – consult YouTube guides for setup instructions. Analyze CPU/memory usage within Task Manager, sorting by highest to lowest priority to identify anomalous processes. Research unfamiliar processes via online search engines.

To find the temperature, open HWinfo64 and navigate to the Sensors tab. Look for sensors labeled "Temperature" under CPU or GPU.

To provide further assistance, here is your task manager screenshot.

I do not utilize antivirus software; I rely solely on Windows Defender. Additionally, I experienced several instances where my PC's temperature caused shutdowns during operation before upgrading my case and cooling components – this may warrant investigation.

I don't think you have a virus but Malwarebytes is a good tool. Could be. What’s too hot? If it shut down yeah, not good.

Idle to startup temperatures recorded, with two stutter instances occurring immediately upon startup at 0:09 and again at 0:29.

Is HWinfo running on another monitor? Temperatures appear acceptable. Please record a video showing gameplay while using MSI Afterburner to display CPU speed, temperatures, total CPU usage, RAM, FPS, and GPU temperature.

Temperatures appear acceptable. Have you attempted reverting to a previous NVIDIA graphics driver? A straightforward driver reinstall or reversion may resolve stuttering issues.
